Because of Simmons' focus on excellence, leadership, and advancement, many of our alumnae have gone on to leadership positions in the life sciences and healthcare sectors to display their skills and capabilities to the world. Despite this history, only 35% of today's STEM workforce in our country identify as women, and only 24% of leadership positions in STEM fields are held by those who identify as women. Now is the time to move those needles, and The Simmons Leadership Conference is where to start that movement."
