Julie Lane

Sr. Director, Social Impact and Inclusion Office, Cisco

Julie Lane serves as a Senior Director within Cisco’s Social Impact and Inclusion Office (SIIO). She is responsible for formalizing, operationalizing, and optimizing the company’s impact and inclusion vision through meaningful and actionable plans and programs.

She thoughtfully and expertly leads SIIO operations, ensuring that Cisco’s work continues to meet the social impact-focused needs of the communities it supports, both locally and globally. In addition to her leadership of SIIO operations and social impact programs, Julie’s remit has expanded to include a portfolio of foundational programs spanning the many SIIO pillars.

Julie and her team are at the forefront of reporting processes and use a methodology that Oxford University has recognized as cutting-edge. They are now collaborating with Oxford University on an in-depth analysis to track the life impacts Cisco’s community enablement commitments have had on their work’s beneficiaries.

Julie is a dynamic and motivational leader. Using rigor, discipline, and an innovative mindset, she has been transforming organizations, processes, and programs and delivering successful core business operations and results that enable companies to achieve their environmental, social, and governance objectives for over 20 years.
